1. Mandatory CFTC Rule 4.41 Notice
CFTC RULE 4.41 DISCLAIMER:
HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
2. General Futures Trading Risks
Trading futures, options on futures, and derivative products involves a substantial risk of financial loss and is not suitable for all investors. You should carefully consider whether trading is appropriate for you in light of your financial condition, investment experience, and risk tolerance:
- High Leverage: Futures contracts offer high degrees of leverage. A small market movement may result in large gains or disproportionately large losses that exceed your initial margin deposit.
- Market Volatility & Gaps: Market prices can fluctuate rapidly during economic releases or unexpected market events, resulting in slippage where orders cannot be filled at requested stop prices.
- Total Loss of Capital: You may sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and any additional funds deposited with your broker.
3. Risks Specific to Multi-Account Order Synchronization
When using CascadeCopier to replicate orders across multiple trading accounts (e.g., Prop Firm evaluation or funded accounts), specific operational risks apply:
3.1 Network Latency & Execution Slippage
Although CascadeCopier is benchmarked for sub-millisecond local dispatch, end-to-end order execution latency is subject to external factors, including your CPU load, local internet connectivity, broker gateway response times, and exchange order queue depth. Follower accounts may execute at different prices (slippage) than the leader account.
3.2 Third-Party API & Broker Disconnections
CascadeCopier connects directly to broker APIs (such as Rithmic R-API, NinjaTrader 8, Tradovate). If an API gateway disconnects, rate limits, or rejects an order, follower account orders may fail to execute or become out-of-sync with the leader account.
3.3 Prop Firm Compliance & Rules
You are solely responsible for understanding and adhering to the specific trading rules, max drawdown limits, and contract scaling restrictions established by your individual proprietary trading firms (e.g., Apex, MyFundedFutures, Bulenox, TradeDay).
4. No Investment Advice
CascadeCopier is strictly an independent software development provider and execution tool. Cascade Financial Technologies Inc. does NOT provide investment advice, trading signals, financial recommendations, or automated trading strategies.
